What's inside

  • The certification types you might choose, such as myofascial release, sports massage and the Masterson Method, so you can work out which fits you best.
  • How the different kinds of programs work, and how to find the right one for you. You'll know what to look for, and what to avoid, so you can decide with confidence.
  • Steps to take while you're still studying, so you're ready to start seeing clients soon after you graduate. There's a simple road map covering things like liability insurance, a business account, intake forms, how you'll deliver session notes, and getting found online.
  • A list of resources to help set your future business up well.

Remember: this guide doesn't certify you or teach technique. It helps you choose a hands-on program you'll be glad you picked.

Is it for you?

Who it's for

This guide is for you if:

  • You're passionate about becoming an equine bodyworker, but you don't know where to start.
  • You're overwhelmed by how many certification programs there are, and by which type to pursue.
  • You're nervous about putting real time and money into training without a clear plan.
  • You've decided to make the career change, but you've stalled out somewhere in the process.
  • You're wondering what needs to be done before you can see your first client.

Why I made this

"When I was choosing my own program, I spent weeks going round in circles. This is the guide I wish someone had handed me, so you can spend that time getting ready instead."

Questions

Something else on your mind? Email me at info@flourishequinebodywork.com

Will this guide certify me?

No. Certification comes from a training program, and I believe the best ones put your hands on real horses under in-person supervision. This guide helps you compare programs and choose the right one for you.

Does it cover PEMF or other add-on tools?

No. It focuses on soft-tissue bodywork certifications. It doesn't cover extra modalities that bodyworkers often add later, like PEMF or infrared.

Do I get updates?

Yes. If I update the guide, I'll email the new version to everyone who's bought it. [CONFIRM WITH JEN: her old page promised lifetime access including future updates. Still happy to promise that?]
