Confirm with Jen: the tools named here (email tool, checkout) must match what the live site actually uses; have the final version reviewed before launch
This policy explains what information I collect through this website, why, and what I do with it. I've kept it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email me at info@flourishequinebodywork.com.
"I", "me" and "Flourish" mean Flourish Equine Bodywork, run by Jenny Thompson. The business is Flourish Equine Consulting, LLC Confirm with Jen: legal entity name, based in Northwest Georgia, USA.
The short version
- I collect only what I need to book sessions, look after your horse, send emails you asked for, and deliver guides you buy.
- I never sell your information or share it for other people's advertising.
- You can ask me to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
What I collect
When you send a booking request: your name, email, mobile number (if you give it), how you heard about me, your horse's name, age, breed and work, the town and county of your barn, what you've noticed about your horse, your vet's name, health information about your horse, and your preferred days.
When you fill out the intake form: everything above, plus your barn's address, your horse's date of birth, sex and history, care details (farrier, dentist, other professionals), your goals, how you'd like to pay, and your typed signature and the date.
When you send a message: your name, email, topic and message.
When you join my email list or download a free guide: your name and email, and which list you joined (horse owners or bodyworkers).
When you buy a digital product: your name, email and what you bought. Card payments are handled by the payment processor (for example Stripe) Confirm with Jen: checkout tool. I never see or store your full card number.
When you visit the site: basic, anonymous information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed, device type and roughly where visitors come from. See "Analytics and cookies" below.
How I use it
- To reply to you and plan your visit, including my driving route.
- To prepare for and carry out bodywork sessions safely, and to keep session records and reports for your horse.
- To send you booking confirmations and reminders.
- To send emails you've signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To deliver products you've bought and keep records of sales, as tax rules require.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
Who I share it with
I only share information with the services that help me run the business, and only what they need:
- Website hosting and forms: my website host stores form entries securely.
- Email: my business email is Google Workspace.
- Email list: an email newsletter service Confirm with Jen: e.g. MailerLite.
- Payments: the checkout provider for digital products. For session payments made by credit card, Venmo or Zelle, the payment provider handles your payment under its own privacy policy.
- Your horse's care team: I'll share session notes with your vet, farrier or other professionals only when you ask me to or agree to it.
- The law: if I'm legally required to share information, for example by a court order.
I never sell your personal information, and I never share it for cross-site advertising.
Photos and videos of your horse
I often take photos and short videos during sessions for your horse's records. I only share them publicly (on this website or social media) if you've given permission on the intake form, and I never share your name or your barn's location without asking first. You can change your mind any time by emailing me.
